I have genuinely been delighted with my decision to choose the Transform 12 Programme at Louise Parker. This is definitely not a diet in the traditional sense, but a lifestyle change that encompasses far more than food and fitness (although with significant weight loss achievable, as I experienced), leaving you feeling fitter, healthier, and better able to handle all life throws at you.
I was most impressed with how easy it was to fit the food aspect around my life, and make choices according to my preferences. There are no set meals that you have to contend with, instead you learn about nutrition and how to balance your food throughout the day, the choices you make are up to you. This made it feel easy to change my eating habits as I made tweaks to my food rather than feeling like I had to overhaul all my choices, and also meant that eating out or travelling could be managed relatively simply. As someone with a serious chocolate habit, I was surprised how easy it was to rebalance and learn how to control the cravings without cutting it out of my life completely. The weekly support of my dietician Cassie was invaluable, she was so supportive and helped navigate any difficult moments with such calmness and lack of judgement, and always armed with helpful advice or tools to ensure success. In fact the friendliness of all the staff I encountered, and Louise herself, really made the programme feel like a pleasant experience full of people willing you to succeed.
I enjoyed the fitness videos too, which were easy to squeeze into a busy day or when travelling if my usual exercise choices weren’t available. However the programme is so much more than food and fitness, it motivates you to deal positively with whatever situation is going on in your life and take control. As someone with young children, and rather interrupted sleep as a result, I was doubtful how well I would get on but I learned some valuable techniques to help me make the most of the rest I could get, for example. The programme is largely intuitive, all the pillars make sense and I think that is what makes it so much simpler to incorporate into busy lives with such success. I am delighted with the results and feel much healthier and confident, both in how I feel but also how I cope with everyday life.
